The European Chat Club Network seeks to achieve its aims by:
 
use of the Internet to promote contact (for example, websites, bulletin board, or forum and direct emails)

face to face meetings hosted by the various ECCN centres

cultural activities such as sight-seeing, museum visits, music, etc

creating a "Down-to-Earth" Dictionary in English and the other participating languages
