Why I'm going to Chatting-Club?
By Gabriella Slézia

"GivingGaby" I go to our Chatting Club every week (if I'm not too busy), because I want to practice and improve my English knowledge (especially my understanding and communication skills) together with such people, who's range of interests are like mine.

That is only a big plus (in our club) we become a good fellowship during the last few years: we organise common programmes, have mutual experiences (which are, at the same time, good topics on the next club-day).

Other positive proceeds of this Chatting Club is that, we'll be able to meet and to speak with foreign people, who also study English language. Without this project it would be impossible.

Why I'm going to Chatting-Club?
By Tamás Kiss

The first time, when I joined to this Club, I had been looking for something similar: something, which doesn't mean a load, but gives the opportunity to talk and improve, and doesn't force me to learn words and grammar.

Some years ago I'd tried Relaxa, which was a new way learning languages. They separated the language-learning process to different sections: in one section we just listening to a conversation, or just reading it, or repeating it. They focused to our only one ability in the same time, and only the end of the lessons when we could hear the whole story together. This method similar to a baby learning-process, when he/she learning his/her mother tongue.

It is my plan to learn English in a high level and considering my writing till now: this Club means to develop my understanding and speaking abilities, and the - boring - grammar is being develop in myself, at home, with my exercise books (and the keys). Of course, I know, it doesn't be sufficient to learn English indeed in a high level, an own English-teacher with some extra lessons and spending some years abroad are also necessary, but - at least - I' done the first steps.

On the other hand, considering the personal motivations: to go a Club is not just funny, because of the studies, but the new relations with new people, we don't do anything just speaking about ordinary, everyday topics, but a very few people do this, in Hungarian. (I mean it's sure I don't speak about these topics, if I do speak in Hungarian. According to my parents, I'm not very talkative, so I've the opportunity to speak.)

I've been being a member of this Club not so long, but I hope we will succeed in the future, that I've heard this Club it is.
